Soccer

The boys both started soccer today. It was so fun to watch them. Their team lost, but they had fun. It is basically "herd" ball everyone runs after the ball!

I'm stuck!

Kiah is rolling everywhere and manages to get just about anywhere she wants to go. The other day she got part way under our big green chair. Too cute!

Justin's world Part 2

One of the great things about Justin is his love for his sister, Kiah. Every morning he waits for her to awake. Upon first movement (yes, sometimes she is still asleep) he runs to her side. He has taught himself to pick her up from the bed and cuddle, like you see below. Oh, notice the glasses? He recently got them. He loves to wear them and I think he looks distinguished. He has already been teased about them to, at Bible study no less. Kids are so ruthless. Karate lessons start soon!!!!!

Justin's world

tonight at bed time justin says " Mommy, after we're done brushing our teeth can we have some jelly beans?"

"I want to sleep on top on my covers so I don't have to make my bed" ah the logic of a 5 year old

Jason and Kiah

Kiah was nice and warm with Daddy in her sling

Isaac sleeps

after a busy day at the beach Isaac, who swore he was NOT tired, fell asleep on the couch.

the beach

We went to the beach last week and had a blast even though it was chilly.

Sleeping Baby.

SSSHHHHHH!

Three of a kind!

Bridget got this great photo of the kids. The boys were watching one of their shows, and Kiah, now rolling (a precursor to crawling), found herself, on her own, beside the boys and decided to watch as well.

Notice the Roots Canada and Hockey Canada!!!

Bed Head!

We try ensure the boys have frequent baths, like any good parents. They provide more than cleanliness though...gotta love the morning after bed head!!!!!

This means that we have to chase him around with a water bottle to tame the do!

Our family photo.

I realize our blog does not have a photo of all of us, so here is our one from Christmas.

Bald Howie Doughty

Our church, Providence Baptist, has Family Fun Nights every quarter. These are times when whole families come to the church for some fun, hence the title. Well, on February 25th we had our Veggie Tale movie (Moe and the big exit) and we played Deal or No Deal. Since Howie Mandel is from Toronto, and so am I (ok, I'm from the suburbs, but close enough), I volunteered to be Howie. If you haven't seen the show, well, he's bald. So I went from bush man to..........bald...to...

Howie Mandel. Yes, I am smelling Broccoli. It was one of the lowest prizes (along with a roll of toilet paper, a feather boa, etc.) The two contestants each left with something good, don't worry! But, I am still bald, until the near future (This translates: as long as Bridget likes the young smooth look. Let me know what you think. Jason
